Hesbone and Violet are the Apostolic leaders of DOVE Kenya. They also serve on the DOVE Africa Apostolic Council, International Apostolic Council, and give apostolic covering to DOVE churches in Zambia.
Hesbone has a passion for holistic ministry, networking with like-minded organizations to see communities transformed. He studied at universities in south central Asia, Kenya, and the Netherlands. During his years in India, Hesbone led an international students’ fellowship and, with other students, founded a fellowship in a university. In 1993, after returning to Kenya, Hesbone became part of DOVE Nairobi, where he served as an associate pastor. In 2007, the Lord called the Odindos to plant a church in Hesbone’s home village, Kadawa, in western Kenya. By the grace of God, Restoration Community Church has expanded into nearly twenty churches. Like her husband, Violet is a gifted teacher of the Word. She is the director of Victory Christian School that has over 600 students and also manages several successful businesses. Violet has inspired many in entrepreneurial vision and teaches practical business skills suited for the African context.
The Odindos are blessed with four children and one grandchild. Their prayer is that the God of more than enough will pour His grace upon them to serve for His glory.
