Steve and Mary’s vision and hearts’ cry is to see people made whole in their personal lives, marriages, and families. Countless individuals have been blessed by Steve and Mary’s ministry, whether it is in one-on-one mentoring, during seminars, conferences, or marriage retreats, or through their written materials. Steve and Mary travel regularly, ministering in churches across the nation and internationally. Both Steve and Mary are gifted teachers who have the grace to equip leaders with tools they need for personal wellness and successful ministry.
Steve has served as a Christian family and marriage counselor in DOVE for several decades. He earned his Master of Human Services degree from Lincoln University. As a member of the DOVE International Apostolic Council for since the council was established until his retirement in 2025, Steve has provided spiritual oversight and accountability for pastors and national leaders in the South Pacific, New Zealand, and the United States. Steve has also served on the DOVE USA Apostolic Council and led the DOVE Caribbean Council.
Mary is a retired registered nurse and is active in local politics. Mary’s personal cause is to see an end to abortion.
Steve and Mary have been married for 50 years. They have three married children and four grandchildren, all of whom they love spending time with whenever possible. Their home is in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. They thoroughly enjoy weekend getaways in the mountains and praying together.
Steve and Mary authored Called Together a Pre- and Postmarital Workbook as well as Staying Together, designed to help every couple enjoy a thriving and fulfilling marriage. Steve has written Identity: The Distinctiveness of You, and many books listed here.
